Behind the Blogger

Hey everyone! Its Mack,

Considering this is my first ever blog post I am going to give you the inside scoop to, The Life of Mack. Every since I was a young girl Math or Science was never my strong point, but I enjoyed reading and writing and had the best imagination a kid could possibly have. As the years flew by my highest grades were always in writing classes, and that, I have carried with me all the way into college where I put those skills into my Journalism major and Photography minor. It was a challenge for me to settle on a major in my freshman year of college. I have endless amounts of interests and was worried I would choose the wrong one, but with lots of classes and research, I knew Journalism and Photography were the perfect routes for me.

With my wild imagination, I am constantly getting bored and wanting to learn and experience more in life. I have such an interest in traveling. I have always loved vacations because, well, who doesn’t like taking a break from reality and soaking up the sun on a beach, but the real reason I love vacations is because that is my opportunity to experience something new, discover a different part of the world, and take in the beauty or pain of that place. I have been traveling with my family ever since I was three and then started traveling with friends during my junior year of High School. We got to travel to Spain, France, and Italy and that was the trip that showed me my passion for traveling.

On all of these trips, with my family or friends, I discovered a hidden talent in Photography. Photography has taught me that we need photographers in our world, we need them to show us the truth, the pain, and beauty. Photographers capture things we miss in our everyday lives, they take a moment and freeze it and its beauty. Photography is something I want to learn and improve on.

On this website, I will be writing stories of my own life experiences and interests and will share my own photographs throughout the years.

Wish you all the best,
